Gravitas Securities Inc. welcomes Tyler Hand, Managing Director, to the GSI Investment Banking team.

Tyler Hand has joined the Investment Banking team at Gravitas Securities Inc. in the Toronto head office location.

Tyler is a senior investment banker with over 15 years of experience in the domestic and international capital markets and professional services industry. He has completed over $35 billion in public M&A and business restructuring transactions including buy-side, sell-side, LBOs and hostile and formal valuations experience and has in-depth experience in transaction financing for M&A and corporate treasury purposes including equity and senior secured, subordinated and public debt. Tyler also has experience with domestic and international creditor protection advisory mandates. His industry experience includes metals and mining, power and infrastructure, industrials, consumer products and financials and private equity.
Tyler previously held the position of Managing Director and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Jacob Securities and prior to that held increasingly senior positions at TD Securities and National Bank Financial.
Tyler is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and is a chartered accountant (CPA, CA).
